Terms governing website use, quotations and product supply
1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to grandcaster.com and to quotations and sales made by H L A GENERAL TRADING LLC through GrandCaster. By using the website, requesting a quotation or confirming an order, you agree to the applicable terms. If a written quotation or signed agreement conflicts with these website terms, the specific written commercial terms will prevail for that order.
2. Website Information
Website descriptions, images, dimensions, load ratings and other technical details are provided for general information. Colours and appearance may differ slightly. Customers must confirm that a product is suitable for the intended load, floor, environment, speed, temperature, chemicals and installation method before ordering.
3. Quotations and Orders
- The website operates on a request-for-quotation basis and does not itself create a binding sale.
- A quotation is valid for the period stated in it and may be revised before order confirmation if availability, specifications, shipping or costs change.
- An order becomes binding when GrandCaster issues written confirmation or otherwise accepts it and any required deposit or payment is received.
- The customer is responsible for checking product codes, dimensions, quantities, specifications, delivery details and commercial terms before confirming an order.
4. Prices, Taxes and Payment
Prices, VAT, delivery charges, deposits, payment schedule and payment method will be stated in the quotation or invoice. Unless stated otherwise, all amounts are in UAE dirhams. We may suspend production or delivery if an amount is overdue.
5. Customized and Special Orders
The customer must approve all specifications before production. Customized, made-to-order and special-order products cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded after production or procurement begins, except where required by law or expressly agreed in writing. The normal estimated production lead time is approximately 30 days.
6. Cancellations, Returns and Delivery
Cancellations require our written acceptance and may be subject to costs already incurred. Returns, refunds and delivery are governed by the Refund and Return Policy and the Shipping and Delivery Policy published on the website.
7. Product Use and Installation
Products must be selected, installed, operated and maintained by appropriately qualified persons and within applicable specifications. Load ratings may depend on the number and arrangement of casters, floor conditions, movement, impact and safety factors. GrandCaster is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect selection, installation, overloading, misuse, modification or inadequate maintenance.
8. Warranties and Claims
Any product or manufacturer warranty specifically provided with a quotation or product will apply according to its stated conditions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable UAE law. Claims should be submitted promptly with the invoice number, product details and evidence.
9. Intellectual Property and Acceptable Use
Website content, branding, text, graphics, photographs and product materials are owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied, republished or commercially used without permission. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its security, introduce malicious code or use it unlawfully.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the website or an order. Any direct liability of GrandCaster relating to a product or order will not exceed the amount paid for the affected product, except where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
11. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including transport disruption, supplier failure, shortage, government action, natural events, labour disruption, utility failure or customs delay.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights or procedures under applicable law.
